A Legacy Since 1598

In 1598, when our Spanish ancestors settled in New Mexico, they brought with them a remarkable gift: honey bees. The bees quickly adapted to the high desert landscape, thriving among the towering cottonwood trees that lined the rivers and valleys.

With patience and respect for nature, our forefathers used cool smoke to gently calm the bees and carefully extract the honey. It was a simple yet vital process — one rooted in understanding, sustainability, and gratitude for the land.

Today, at Old Town Bee Farm, our family continues to honor our precious heritage by providing local raw honey to our neighbors — pure, natural, and harvested with the same care and respect passed down since 1598.
